Is 11/12 greater than 2 1/3

2 1/3 = (3*2 + 1 )/ 3 = 7 / 3
11/12 and 7/3 ..these are unlike fractions ..so lets make them into like fractions ....
we get ..
=> 33/36 and 84/36
=> so 11/12 is less than 2 1/3 ..

No because 11/12 is not even a whole number, whereas 2 1/3 (ok so not a whole number but above a whole number) is.
