(2x+5)(x-7)=0

Since a product can be zero if one of their factors are equal to zero, it follows that:

x-7=0\Rightarrow x=7

or

2x+5=0\Rightarrow x=-(5)/(2)

Then the solutions will be x=7 or x=-5/2
