For perpendicular lines, m2 = -1/m1
y = 2x - 8 has a slope of 2, so the perpendicular line will have a slope of -1/2
Required equation is y - 5 = -1/2 (x - 2)
y = -1/2 x + 1 + 5
y = -1/2 x + 6
