Answer:

6:30 pm

Explanation:

Hello, I think I can help you with this.

you can easily solve this by using a rule of three

Step 1

define the relation

if the storm has traveled 35 miles in 0.5 hour,How long will it take to travel 105 miles?

iif

35 miles ⇔0.5 hours

105 miles ⇔x hours?

(35\ miles)/(0.5\ hours)=(105\ miles)/(x)\\\\ isolating\ x\\(x*35\ miles)/(0.5\ hours)=105\ miles\\x*35\ miles=105\ miles*0.5\ hours\\x=(105\ miles*0.5\ hours)/(35\ miles)\\ x=1.5\ hours

Hence, the time the storm will reach me is

5:00 pm +1.5 Hours

1.5 Hours = 1 hour + 30 minutes

the time the storm will reach me is: 5:00 pm+1 hour + 30 minutes

the time the storm will reach me is:6:30 pm

Have a good day
