On the other hand, Patrick Henry was famous for his speeches about liberty and in 1775 during the Second Virginia Convention, Patrick Henry gave his famous speech Give me liberty or give me death to convince his audience (the Congress) that keeping peace with Britain was not going to solve anything, and that immediate action was needed. Patrick Henry inspired Americans and settled the importance of liberty among all things using anecdotal evidence, which refers to past events and their pointless results.
