June has 30 days, July has 31, and August has 31.
92 days in total.
25 + 51 + 62 = 138 lightning stikes
138 / 92
1.5 lightning strikes per day on average.

so avarage is number of occurances over total or strikes/days
June=30 days
July=31 days
August=31 days
so total =30+31+31=92
there were 62+25+51=# of lightnig strikes=138
so 138/92 or (2*3*23)/(2*2*23) or [(2*23)/(2*23)] times 3/2 so [(2*23)/(2*23)] cancels out to 1/1 or 1 and the answer is 3/2 lighning strikes per day or 1 1/2 per day
