10 times the value
because the 3 in 530 is in the tens place meaning it represents 30, and the 3 in 6,300 is in the hundreds place so it is equal to 300. 30 x
10
= 300

The value of 3 in 6300 is 300 and the value of 3in 530 is 30. Therefore, 300 is 10 times 30.
