How does a third person omniscient narrator differ from a third person limited narrator

The most important difference between a third-person omniscient narrator and a third-person limited narrator is in that the omniscient narrator knows everything that is going on - there are no secrets held from him, because he has insight into other character's thoughts and feelings. A limited narrator doesn't know everything - only what other character's tell him.
