k = 0.5mv²
k = kinetic energy
m = mass
v = velocity
0.5 = 1/2
solve for v.
k = 1/2 * m * v²
(k * 2) / m = v²
√(2k/m) = √v²
√(2k/m) = v
There should have been a list of choices included in this problem.
v = √(2k/m)
