no
in the first equation x is = to 10
in the second equation x is = to 9

I got this by first subtracting 7 from 27. I got 20. then I divided 20 by 2 and got 10 for x

for the second I subracted 1 from 28 and got 27. then I divided that by 3 to get x=9
