A sequence is defined by un=3n-2. find u27

I think the definition of your sequence is u(n) = 3n - 2 .
That little set of parentheses makes it SO much
easier to read and understand.

To find u(any number) just write the number in place of 'n' .

u(27) = 3(27) - 2

= 81 - 2

= 79 .
