Katie is at a casino and bets on only the face cards (J, Q, and K). The casino dealer deals Katie a card from a 26-card deck that contains only clubs and spades. What is the probability that Katie will win this round?

(J,K,Q) clubs, (J,K,Q) spades...she is only betting on 6 cards...out of 26.

6/26 reduces to 3/13 <==

To answer this question accurately, one must understand the fact that there would be a total of 6 face cards in the cards deck of 26 cards. Three face cards will be from clubs and 3 will be from spades.
Then
Probability that Kate will win this round = 6/26
= 3/13
I hope the procedure is clear enough for you to understand.
