Divide both sides by 3 and we get
x - 2 > -1
Thus, from adding 2 to both sides,
we get x > 1

Solving inequalities is similar to that of equalities.
Some differences occurs when you multiply with a negative or take negative exponents.
e.g. 5 < 9 ---> -5 > -9

e.g. 5 < 7 ---> 1/5 > 1/7
