t / 7 = - 5

multiply both sides by 7 :

t/7 * 7 = -5 * 7

t = - 5 * 7

t = - 35

hope this helps!

Hey there!

t/7 = -5

1/7t = -5

SIMPLIFY 7 to BOTH SIDES

7 * 1/7t = -5 * 7

CANCEL out: 7 * 1/7 because it gives you 1

KEEP: -5 * 7 because it helps solve for the t-value

NEW EQUATION: t = -5 * 7

SIMPLIFY IT!

t = -35

Therefore, your answer is: t = -35

Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!
