Explanation: Siddhartha Gautama is founded in Buddhism. He grew up in a life of luxury but witnessed suffering. Suffered and meditated to find wisdom. He was then called the Buddha, or the "Enlightened One." Then he traveled around India teaching others.

Siddhartha Gautama was a sage man on whose teachings Buddhism was founded.He was important because he was the wise man of the Sahkya clan. One day, he would be known as Buddha.
