What is anthropomorphic imagery? In your opinion, what are two possible purposes for this type of art?

Answer:

Anthropomorphic imagery is taking animals or objects and giving them human shapes and/or qualities. Opinions will vary.

I think the word would be symbolism to this type of art. I guess another purpose is that it's easy to make because it's using your household items and giving them 'personalities'.

Anthropomorphic imagery is giving a human-like feature or characteristics to something that is inanimate. Personally, I feel it can be like a mirror to how we really feel or serious issues if used correctly (like, I've personally seen a photo healthy apple looking at itself in the mirror because of a thinner apple -- it represented eating disorder and body dysmorphia). Better word would be symbolism. I guess another purpose is that it's easy to make because it's using your household items and giving them 'personalities'.
