we have the linear equation

y=-0.565x+371.4

so

if the value of the independent variable is increased by one unit

we have (x+1)

substitute

y=-0.565(x+1)+371.4

y=-0.565x-0.565+371.4

y=-0.565x+30.835

Find out the slope

m=[-0.565x+30.835-(-0.565x+371.4)]/(x+1-x)

m=-340.565/1
