Nice to see you Frankie

-6 = y/5 + 4
Simplify both sides
-6 = 1/5 y + 4
Now flip,because we wanna be more comfortable with it so we can solve it clearly
1/5 y + 4 = -6
1/5 y = -6 - 4
1/5 y = -10
Multiply both sides by 5 so we can find the value for y
5*1/5 y) = (5)(-10)
5/5 y = -50
y = -50

I am so glad to help you... If you have any questions about the answer please let me know :)

-6 =
(y)/(5) + 4 Subtract 4 from both sides
-10 =
(y)/(5) Multiply both sides by 5
-50 = y Switch the sides to make it easier to read
y = -50
