The strategy used by activists in the early civil rights movement was protesting. This was backed up by the influence of King to tell them not to fight, because if you fight then you will make a war of the races. This movement was a big deal to the united states and the African American community. But at the same time some people look down upon it and say they shouldn't have done so, its all about how you think. If you want to discuss this movement then direct message me. Hope i was able to help. Have a great day mate!
