Solve 3.5x + 10 < -30

yes the answer above is correct but to explain it

3.5×+10 <-30 subtract 10 from both sides so this moves the 10 to the other side to get
3.5x<-30-10 then 3.5×<-40
then you want to move the 3.5 by dividing it to both sides so you just have the x to get x < -40÷3.5 then x <-11.43
I know this correct.

k easy 1 change 10 to -10 add it to -30 and get -40 divid -40 by 3.5 and get
x<-11 (if im worng sorry i am in pre algebra not algebra but i am good at math not fractions wet)
