percent decrease=decrease/original
decrease=original-end
decrease=25-10=15
percent decrease=15/25=3/5
percent means parts out of 100
3/5=x%
3/5=x/100
times 100 both sides
300/5=x
60=x
answer is 60% decrease

60% because if you take 15$ from 25 then you can find how much % 15 is of 25
