< means “Less than” and the other one means “less than or equal to”

≤ and ≥ means bigger / smaller or even.

x≤23 means that x is either smaller than 23 or it is 23

x≥23 means that x is either bigger than 23 or it is 23

< and > means bigger / smaller

x<23 means that x is smaller than 23

x>23 means that x is bigger than 23
