Examples:
|2| = 2 because 2 ≥ 0
|0| = 0 because 0 ≥ 0
|-4| = -(-4) = 4 because -4 < 0
|-10| = 10 because -10 < 0

|-10| - |-8| - 2 = 10 - 8 - 2 = 0

Calculate absolute values

subtract numbers (10-8)

and... you get 2! :)
