Linda made 24 jelly-bread sandwiches with a 16-ounce jar of jelly.

Joanne made 30 jelly-bread sandwiches with a 20-ounce jar of jelly.

Who used more ounces of jelly per sandwich, Linda, Joanne, or both? Explain your reasoning.

(Hint: Find the ounces per sandwich for each person, then compare.)

Answer:

Both of them made the same

Explanation:

find each ounce of jelly per sandwich

for Linda - 24/16 = 1.5

for Joanne - 30/20 = 1.5

so for each sandwich, both used 1.5 ounce of jelly

Hope it helped u! : )
