35 + 0.10m = 25 + 0.15m
35 - 25 = 0.15m - 0.10m
10 = 0.05m
10/0.05 = m
200 = m....after 200 miles driven, they will be the same

1) Rental company A
f₁(x)=price charged.
x=number of miles

We have this function.

f₁(x)=0.1x+35

2)Rental company B.
f₂(x)= price charged.
x=number of miles.

We have this function.

f₂(x)=0.15x+25

The price charged by each company will be the same when f₁(x)=f₂(x), therefore:

0.1x+35=0.15x+25
0.1x-0.15x=25-35
-0.05x=-10
x=-10 / -0.05
x=200

Answer: the price charged will be the same after of 200 miles.
