The algebraic expression for the phrase 6 more than the product of 8 and n can be dissected into terms. The term of the phrase the product of 8 and n is 8n. 6 more than this is equal to 6 + 8n. hence the answer to this problem is 6 + 8n.

the product of 8 and n is 8•n, which can also be written as 8n. 6 more than that means you are adding 6, so your expression is
8n+6
