A. 25 percent. Assuming wrinkled seeds are recessive. The ratio for two heterozygous crosses for one trait will stay the same-- 3:1, with 1 being recessive.

Answer;

25 percent.

When plants that are heterozygous for round seeds are crossed, the probability

that the offspring will have wrinkled seeds will be 25 percent.

Explanation;

The trait round seed is dominant over the trait of wrinkled seed; which means the round seeds masks the wrinkled seed trait in heterozygous.

Therefore; the genotype of heterozygous round seeds will be Rr and the genotype for wrinkled seeds will be rr.

Thus; crossing heterozygous round seeds; Rr × Rr , the possible offsprings will be; RR, Rr, Rr, rr.

The probability of getting wrinkled seeds is thus 1/4 or 25%.
