To find mean absolute deviation we have to find the difference of each data point with the mean of 72

1. |72-62| = 10

2. |72-73|=|-1|=1

3. |72-74| =|-2|=2

4. |72-75|= |-3|= 3

5. |72-76|= |-4| =4

Now we vind the average of these differences by adding them all up and dividing by the number there are:


(10+1+2+3+4)/(5) = (20)/(5) =4
