I'll help you by giving you the answers to the first two, and showing you the steps.
The equation is: f(x) = x² + 3
You're x = -4, what I'd do is plug that into your f(x):
0 = x² + 3
-4 = x² + 3 (subtract three on either side, to move it to the other side)
-3-4 = x²
-7 = x²
Your answer is -4, -7 for the first one. Since it's inverse function, you just change the places of f(x) and x. I think, that's how I understand it...

The second one, is:
f(x) = x² + 3
-3 = x² + 3
-3-3 = x²
-6 = x²
-3, -6.

I see a pattern, so it should be right. If you need help with the others to check your work, don't hesitate to ask. I hope I helped.
