How would I use the distributive property to rewrite (9-p)3 and then simplify?

do 9 times 3 and -p times 3. when you simplify you should get 27-3p

1.To make it easier, you can rewrite the 3 to the other side!
3(9-p)
2.To distribute, you just take the term on the outside of the parentheses and multiply it with each term on the outside (seperately)
3 * 9 = 27
3 * -p = -3p
3. This would leave you with the following equation...rewrite it with the letters first.
-3p + 27 or 3p - 27
either way works!
