First of all, it would be steeper.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

y=3x+4 were changed to
y=5x+4

As we know the standard form is :

y=mx+c

In the first one, the slope is 3 i.e. (m = 3) while in the second one, the slope is 5 i.e. (m = 5)

By using of slope , we can compare the new graph with the first one.

If y = 3x + 4 were changed to y = 5x + 4, how would the graph of the new function-example-1
