n-the number
-7 · n + 8 · (n + 1) = n - 7
-7n + 8(n + 1) = n - 7
solution:
-7n + 8n + 8 = n - 7
n + 8 = n - 7 |subtract n from both sides
8 = -7 FALSE
Answer: no solution ( n∈∅)
