In the Linnaean classification system, all organisms are placed in a ranked hierarchy
.
Here are these levels:
Kingdom
Linnaeus
Aristotle
Binomenial Nomenclature
Species
Genus Phylum
Family Order
Class
Cladogram
Taxonomy
Taxon
Clade
Cladogram
Each of these levels referred to as Taxon .
