The slope-intercept form: y= mx + b

9x - 7y = -7 |subtract 9x from both sides

-7y = -9x - 7 |divide both sides by (-7)

y = 9/7x + 1

9x-7y=-7
Rewriting it in the form y=mx+c
7y=9x+7
y=
(9)/(7) x+1
