The answer is 4) William Booth.

William Booth (1829-1912) was not a journalist, nor was involved in investigations of corruption in business or government. This English man is best known for being a preacher who founded The Salvation Army in 1865, an organization from Protestant Church that still operates nowadays, and it's famous for being one of the most charitable organizations whose aim is to meet people's both physical and spiritual needs. It mainly consists of soldiers, officers and other members called "Salvationists".
