3.82 x 10^7 is the standard forn of the number 38200000; to write in standard form you place the decimal and count back decimal places to 0. In effect this reads 3.82 multiplied by 10 to the power of 7. Standard form writing can be used to approximate larger numbers, however may not be completely accurate as a value.Hope this helps. Let me know if you need additional help!

the e+7 means times 10^7
if it was e-7 it would be 10^-7
basically it is written in scientific notation
juse expand 3.82 times 10^7
so just move the decimal point over 7 place to right
38,200,000 is standard form
