20% off, means it came to 100% - 20% = 80%
80% of 599 = 0.8 * 599 = 479.2
6.5% of sale tax added, means 100% + 6.5% = 106.5%
= 106.5% * 479.2
= (106.5/100) * 479.2
= 1.065 * 479.2
= 510.348
Customer would pay $510.348 ≈
$510.35

$510.35
$599*20% = $119.80
$599-$119.80 = $479.20
$479.20*6.5% = $31.15
$479.20+$31.15 = $510.35
