Hello,

x²+2x-3=0
==>x²+3x-x-3=0
==>x(x+3)-1(x+3)=0
==>(x+3)(x-1)=0
==>x=-3 or x=1

Sol={-3,1}

x²-4x-5=0
==>x²+x-5x-5=0
==>x(x+1)-5(x+1)=0
==>(x+1)(x-5)=0
==>x=-1 or x=5

Sol={-1,5}

x^(2)+2x-3=0
Solving by expansion;
Product=-3
Sum=2

x^(2) -x+3x-3=0
x(x-1)+3(x-1)=0
(x+3)(x-1)=0
x=-3, 1
