mrs. esperanza's math class is playing a game using two spinners. ONe spinner has colors red, blue, and green. The other spinner has the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. How many possible outcomes are there?

the answer is 24. you know this because there are three possible choices of colors and 8 numbers. either way, you HAVE to get a color and number. thre color red could be paired with 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 or 8. all the other colors can too. you just have to multiply 8 and 3, leading to the answer
