For the function​ below, find the​ vertex, the axis of​ symmetry, the maximum or minimum​ value, and the graph of the function.

​f(x)=x^2+8x+17

Hello,

y=x²+8x+17=(x²+2*4x+16)+1=(x+4)²+1

Vertex is (-4,1)
Axis of symmetry: x=-4

coeff of x² is >0 ==> the vertex is the minimum (x=-4)
