If square root of 5 - x = 4 , then x=

Is it 11 or -11
Please show your work.
Here's mine
Square root of 5 - x =4
(Square root of 5 - x)^2 = (4)^2
5 - x =16, x =
-5. -5, × =
___________
X = 11

Hello,

√(5-x)=4
==>5-x=16
==>x=-11

Proof:

√(5-(-11))=√16=4
