To find the greater no. equal the denominators

LCM of 6 and 11 is 66

1/6 *11/11 = 11/66

2/11*6/6 = 12/66

Clearly, 2/11 is greater.

cross-multiply
1*11 ... 2*6
11 ... 12

12, which was on right side, is greater

hence 2/11 is greater.

cross-verify: 1/6 = 0.167
