f(x) = x^2 + 4x - 12
x-intercepts are the values of x when y = 0
x^2 + 4x - 12 = 0
(x - 2)(x + 6) = 0
x - 2 = 0 or x + 6 = 0
x = 2 or x = -6
Therefore the x-intercepts are (-6, 0), (2, 0)
