Answer:

16 milliliters of 2% solution

48 milliliters of 10% solution

Explanation:

x = 2% solution

y = 10% solution

System of Equations:

x + y = 64

.02x + .10y = 64(.08)

use Substitution: y = 64 - x

.02x + .10(64 - x) = 5.12

.02x + 6.4 - .10x = 5.12

-.08x = -1.28

x = 16

y = 64 - 16 which equals 48
