Answer:

480 guests took water

Explanation:

40 people out of 100 people took soda

∴
(40)/(100) people out of 1 people took soda

∴
(40x800)/(100) people out of 800 people took soda

= 320 people took soda

∴ (800-320) = 480 people took water
