For an hour, the company will pay the president 6 2/3 times $17.25. This is equal to $115. Working at the same company, the janitor earns 5/3 as much as the mechanic. Hence, the janitor earns 5/3 times $17.25 which is equal to $28.75. The sum of these three numbers is $161. Thus, the company sheds out $161 to pay these three employers.
