Does softball, weightlifting, basketball, or bowling best improve cardiovascular endurance?

Basketball for sure. Weightlifting is classified as strength training, not cardio (however, you can still lose weight and see results from weightlifting). Bowing requires a great deal of precision, but how much exercise does it really require you to do? It is more of an arm motion rather then using your entire body. Softball is a great one for improving cardiovascular endurance, but you are usually hitting the ball, standing at a base, or running from base to base which does not require as much energy as it does to run up and down the court in basketball.
