Intrusive igneous rock is cooled and solidified above ground. Typically it's formed from lava, which comes from underground. That's why it's called intrusive.

intrusive rock is formed from lava cooling with
in
the earth's crust below ground forming large crystals, extrusive rock is formed above ground very quickly and not being able to crystallize.
