A spinner has three equal sections of red, blue, and yellow. If the spinner is spun 250 times how many will the spinner land on a color that is not blue.

There are three equal sections on the spinner: one is red, one is blue, and one is yellow.

From this, we can figure out that the probability of the spinner landing on the blue section is 1/3. Thus, the probability of the spinner not landing on the blue section is 1 - 1/3 or 2/3.

Therefore, if the spinner is spun 250 times, and we are trying to figure out how many times it WON'T land on blue, then we multiple the probability of this happening (2/3) by the number of times that we spin the spinner (250).

2/3 * 250 = 166 2/3

If the spinner is spun 250 times, it will land on a color that is not blue 166 2/3 (approximately 167) times.
