because the rules say that you will just add the zeros
or you are looking for the
2*10^3
that is equal to 20*10^2
the rule say that the exponents are the places you have to move the decimal point to the right and if it negative you will move it to he left

We have given an expression 20*100 which will be equal to 2000

And since, we have to write it in the powers of 10 we will put all zeroes in power of 10

Like here, we have total 3 zeroes then we will write it as

Whenever we need to write the expression in term of power of 10 we will always consider all the zeroes in power of 10

If it would have been 200000 then we will write it as
